Marge Walter has been in the food service business since 1970. Working at Carrie Cerino's Restaurant from 1974 until 1987, Marge also took time to attend the Tri-C Culinary Program for two years.

In 1992, Walter Caterers entered the prestigious East Ohio Gas and Home Improvement Expo Cooking contest and took the blue ribbon for her fabulous lemon chicken recipe.

Marge then took over as the chef/manager of The Mariners Club on Saw Mill Creek Resort Property for two years. Later, she moved to The Belarusan American Center, in Strongsville, along with her son Rick, where they were the Caterers and managers for the better part of 17 years. During this time they coordinated over 600 wedding receptions and other special family events. Currently, they also cater at St. Andrew's Party Center in Parma.
